I've been fortunate enough to achieve some remarkable results in my career, predominantly in the Advertising & Media Industry which spanned 25 years, enabling me to win multiple 'Distinguished Achievement' and special CEO ‘Outstanding Business Contribution’ awards in both Financial Times 100 & Fortune 500 organisations by coaching people to tap into the power of mindful leadership (of self & others) to accomplish things they would previously not have envisaged as possible.
This sounds wonderful doesn't it and isn't this how so many people tell their stories, i.e. it's all about their successes and they conveniently leave out all the struggles and failures and yet, it's during these exact situations that we learn most about ourselves and about life.
I've had plenty of these too, like the time I called out an ignorant and egotistical FTSE CEO and it back-fired on me badly and hurt my career, or when I jumped too far out of my 'zone of genius' and allowed my self-belief to overpower common sense. And then there were times when I didn't possess enough desire or confidence in myself that it held me back from doing what I was truly capable of, which meant missing out on some great opportunities.
For as long as I can remember, I had this feeling of unrest, being different and never quite being enough and would I be found out for being a fraud. Over time though, I studied self-management psychology and neuroscience, and learned to see and harness these doubts as drivers to be better and it's become a strength that helps me now rather than a weakness that limits me. It's just one of many insights that's proven to be a game-changer for me.
I've even written a book about some of my experiences called Strong Minds.
It's these kinds of experiences and honesty with myself that enables me to understand what people have to go through to succeed in the world of business and importantly, how I can help people avoid the common mistakes and pitfalls that many fall prey to in their careers.
At heart, I’m an 'Introverted Maverick' who likes to break the rules, disrupt the status quo and rise high above conformity and convention. The word most often used to describe me is 'inspiring' not because I think I'm anything special but because I've helped many people in busines to 'go deep' and find ways to inspire themselves that they never knew they possessed.
What you really want to know though is 'can I really help you achieve what you want personally and professionally' with less effort, hassle, pressure, stress and make exponential strides forward, i.e. no BS or false promises?
Here, you will get a feel for why I love to develop sales managers and entrepreneurs, i.e. by developing you, the people you lead will develop and the combined power of your influence has the potential to produce awesome collective impacts. You'll see my style, which doesn't suit everyone I know but the truth is, it's helped many individuals and teams to smash it in business and in life.
Even if you're not sure how to break with conventional thinking and conventional behaviours that get conventional (average) sales results you can learn how to be different with my coaching and mentoring, good different. It take no extra effort but can enable you to achieve the results you should be achieving and here's the thing, you are capable of more, better, stand out results with the right help.
You may be one of those who attended my keynote speech 'The Neuroscience of Mind Hacks' and my Strong Minds book signing at the ExCel London but even if not, this should give you a feel for the reception of people who came up to the stage afterwards. Many people also enrolled in my Personal Leadership Mastery online course within 24 hours of this event.
NB. Be sure to set the 'CC' Button on the video to hear what this attendee had to say about the whole exhibition and my keynote.
